Broome County IDA Advances Workforce Training Center Planning Initiative
The Broome County Industrial Development Agency has selected Karp Strategies to lead a comprehensive planning study for a proposed regional advanced manufacturing workforce training center in the Southern Tier. Supported by Empire State Development, the initiative is designed to strengthen the region’s talent pipeline, align training with employer demand, and expand access to high-quality, family-sustaining careers.
Stephen Tucker, President & CEO of Northland Workforce Training Center and Founder of The Catalyst Strategy Group, is supporting this effort through workforce strategy expertise, stakeholder alignment, and implementation insight—bringing a practitioner-led perspective grounded in real-world workforce system design and execution.
